> about me

I'm Jon Buehler Jairaj. I've spent 20 years going deep on hard problems, from embedded radar systems on military drones to iOS apps that generate real revenue to signal analysis platforms for financial markets. I'm drawn to complexity and I build through it.

> the day job

I lead engineering teams at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems. 16 years of designing and shipping radar software for MQ-9 platforms deployed around the world. I take R&D concepts from prototype to production and build the tools that make complex data actionable for operators in the field.

> what I build on my own time

I investigate financial markets and build tools from what I find. A market timing app that nets $3k/month for my client. A positive affirmations app with 2,500 monthly users. Right now I'm deep into a signal analysis and research platform, processing massive datasets and hunting for patterns in the noisy global futures markets of the world.
